Professor Stavros Georgakopoulos at Florida International University (FIU) and Professor Manos Tentzeris at Georgia Tech develop novel origami reconfigurable antennas.
The collaborative research between the two research groups at FIU and Georgia Tech is funded by National Science Foundation’s EFRI Program on Origami Design for Integration of Self-assembling Systems for Engineering Innovation (ODISSEI) and it envisions revolutionary perpetual origami-based electromagnetic (EM) components, RF circuits and systems that will transform the fields of communications, energy autonomy and sensing.
